Outbound Program

The outbound exchange semester is an important component of the international education of every Kühne Logistics University student.

Time abroad

The students of the Kühne Logistics University spent one semester at our one of our partner universities. This allows them to gain deep, hands-on insights into cultures and business paradigms that cannot be taught in classroom.

The Kühne Logistics University aims to only send four students of their programs to the same institution at the same time in order to enable them to make out the most of their foreign experience and to also discover the partner university and the country individually.

Curricula and Syllabi

Information on curricula and course syllabi of the partner institutions are made available to the KLU students assigned for exchange to a specific university as soon as they are provided by the partner institution.

Information Session

Outgoing students are informed 2-4 weeks prior to the election process of the exchange university on the available destination in an information session held by the International Office. Beside formal information with regard to the timing, course structure and prerequisites for an exchange, former exchange students report on their experience. After the information session KLU students can come to the International Office for individual counseling.

ECTS Recognition

As the KLU is working on the ECT system all credits gained by its students during their exchange periods at the partner institutions will be recognized.
