The KLU not only seeks to educate future leaders for the logistics industry but also future opinion leaders in the global academic community.

The KLU seeks to advance scientific knowledge and to apply it in the interrelated fields of logistics, marketing, and leadership. As an integral part of this mission, the KLU hands out a limited number of post doctoral scholarships to highly qualified recent PhD graduates. It is the objective of the program that respective candidates use this time to further develop their publication record, initiate networks beyond those obtained throughout their PhDs, and proactively engage in their career planning. As part of this, post-docs receive mentoring from one dedicated member of the resident faculty.
