Financing your studies

The following financial assistance is available for the conclusion of your studies:

THE KLU scholarships

THE KLU offers a limited number of scholarships. There is significant competition for each award. Candidates are chosen on the basis of academic achievement and distinctive personal accomplishment. Please note that we will only process complete applications. Scholarship applications must reach us by 30 June 2012.

Brain Capital Financing Scheme

Brain capital financing offers students at The Kühne Logistics University an innovative way of funding their studies. Participants in this scheme pay no tuition fees while studying. In return, they commit themselves to making income-dependent payments after graduation, once a certain income level has been reached.

Loan schemes

There are different possibilities to finance the cost of living via loan schemes. They are directed primarily towards German nationals and nationals of EU member states. Candidates of other nationalities are only eligible if they have a German baccalaureate ("Abitur") and permanent residence status in Germany.

Other scholarships

An extensive number of institutions and foundations offer scholarships.  Financial scholarships can cover up to 100% of living expenses. Non-monetary scholarships comprise of invitations to workshops, lectures and scientific conferences where candidates have the opportunity to network with other scholarship holders.
