We conduct research for the benefit of society. In particular, we seek to advance scientific knowledge and to apply it in the interrelated fields of logistics, marketing, and leadership.

Resident Faculty

The KLU plans to establish ten logistics professorships and eleven professorships in Management & Economics by 2015.

With the logistics professorships, the KLU will cover all relevant research fields in the area of transportation and logistics. The professorships in the area of Management & Economics represent the second pillar in the KLU’s research profile and will allow intensive interdisciplinary research to take place. This bundling of education and research competence positions the KLU as a key think-tank for the logistics industry and the scientific community.
