Michael Riechert

Ph.D. candidate

Michael Riechert is one of eight doctoral students at the Kühne Logistics University in the field of marketing and ethics. He holds a diploma (equivalent to Master’s degree) in Business Administration from the Christian-Albrechts-University at Kiel. During his studies and while drawing up his diploma thesis he gained experience in academic research. 

Within his investigations he focused on the customer preference for social desirable product features and evaluated whether people tend to punish companies who act in an unsocial manner. Corporate Social Responsibility, commonly known as CSR, and sustainability in logistics is one of his major research fields as a doctoral student.
