Three hours, random teams, one case study in English … the participants who divided into random teams of two tackled a case from the management field. They had to answer four questions and formally present their answers. “The Case Competition was a real challenge,” said winner Sebastian Buchholz. “It was a fantastic opportunity to get to know other participants from all over the world and, of course, to win at the end.” Vasily Kalikin, the second winner, added: “Immersing in such a complicated case was a truly thrilling experience for me. I had to work out a solution with my partner and present it. Hamburg is a beautiful city and has a lot in common with St. Petersburg – both are full of life.”
This year, the students traveled from Russia and Mexico to join their German counterparts in participating in the competition. All of them are ambitious and enjoy challenges like this. They viewed the competition as an experience. Because of the high interest there will be another competition next year.
