Former KLU PhD candidate nominated for EMAC McKinsey Marketing Dissertation Award

Jannik Meyners, a former PhD candidate in Marketing at KLU, has been nominated finalist for the EMAC McKinsey Marketing Dissertation Award.

Dr. Meyners is nominated for his dissertation “Measuring and Managing the Impact of Social Networks on Customer Referrals”. The distinguished Dissertation Award, initiated by EMAC and McKinsey & Company, sets out to recognize and encourage the development of theories and tools that will shape the future of marketing and honors the best dissertation in the field of Marketing. The award will be presented at this year’s Annual Conference of the European Marketing Academy (EMAC) in Oslo, Norway. Dr. Meyners finished his PhD at KLU under the supervision of Prof. Jan Becker in October 2015.
