Graduation of KLU students: Congratulations!

Graduates at staircase look in the air

104 students successfully completed their studies at Kühne Logistics University in 2019. Today they were given a festive farewell.

The song "Viva la Vida", played by the Mizar Quartet, sounded through the full auditorium of Kühne Logistics University. This is how the university opened the farewell ceremony for this year's graduates in Global Supply Chain Management (Tricontinent), Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, MBA in Leadership and Supply Chain Management, Master in Management and Bachelor in Business Administration. The song was in keeping with the mood of the graduates, who appeared with family, friends or partners and put on dark gowns and student hats for their big day.

"104 graduates are 104 new ambassadors for Kühne Logistics University," said KLU President Prof. Thomas Strothotte. In his speech, he consciously motivated graduates to understand professional life as a continuous process of change and to actively dare change again and again.

The President's moving speech in the morning ceremony was followed by speeches from the founder of Kühne Logistics University, Prof. Klaus-Michael Kühne, and Angela Titzrath, Chairwoman of the Executive Board, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA). Speaker in the afternoon graduation ceremony was Michael Eggenschwiler, Chairman of the Executive Board Hamburg. The certificates were then ceremoniously handed over. With the ritual hat throw in the presence of KLU President Strothotte and Klaus-Michael Kühne (photo), the graduates sealed their step from graduate to alumni.

The Kühne Logistics University team wishes all graduates all the best and much success for their future careers.
