Greeting by the School of Economics and Management, Tongji University

Prof. Dr. Song and Prof. Dr. Jiazhen Huo

Dear KLU Friends,

On behalf of School of Economics and Management, may we begin by expressing our heartfelt congratulations to everyone at KLU on this auspicious 10th anniversary celebration. It is hard to believe that you achieve so much within only 10 years. Now KLU has become a highly recognized rising star of nurturing professional logistics talents for Germany and beyond, all of which are inseparable from the visionary and insightful ideology of Kuehne Foundation.

An outstanding educational institution cannot be built overnight. We know that during the past decade KLU’s success was secured through the hard work and selfless devotion of many people. KLU is also fortunate to have effective leadership of president Strothotte to carry on with the tradition of excellence enlightened by Mr. Kuehne.

Universities today face multi-faceted demands. One of the most important of these is to become more internationalized, more open to currents beyond our borders, and to become more flexible to take advantage of the opportunities offered by establishing close relationships with top institutions around the world. In this regard, we are delighted to say that our institution, Kuehne Logistics University, and University of Tennessee, Knoxville have made a wise decision by working together on the Tri-con Master in Global Supply Chain Management in 2016. It is our sincere hope that we will work together even more closely in the years ahead for the benefit of not only our three universities, but for the good of the global community.

On this very special occasion, we would like to once again express our very best wishes for continued success at KLU in their future endeavors.
