At our Logistics & SCM Career Event, many renowned employers such as Capgemini Consulting, Inverto, Jungheinrich, Kühne + Nagel and Tchibo were looking for clever minds who find new paths, optimize the flow of goods, and develop innovative strategies. The one-and-a-half days were rounded out by exclusive tours of production facilities, an excursion to the Port of Hamburg’s container terminals, and a shared evening meal on Friday evening.
The career event was targeted to recent graduates of all types of universities from the following departments: (industrial) engineering and business administration, development engineering, materials management/logistics, purchasing/procurement, organization/planning and shipping/transportation.
This event is different from many other event formats in that the companies choose the participants in advance and invite them to personal interviews and workshops. A lot of KLU students fitted the requirements profile of the participating companies and hopefully left a lasting impression.
