Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics

Degree program: BSc Business Administration

This module focuses on famous corporate scandals, the financial crisis and (in)famous individuals such as the whistleblower Edward Snowden. The main goal of the class is to provide students with the moral awareness to detect ethical dilemmas in their day-to-day lives rather than assuming that ethical challenges only face large corporations and their managers. Students will increase their self-knowledge through discussions and personal reflection, will get to know tools to analyze ethical dilemmas and will learn to define and argue their personal stance on ethical issues.
