Design and Analysis of Business Processes

This course introduces business process modeling using BPMN 2.0 and aims at discussing how the performance of business processes can be analyzed in order to obtain insight that can be used to improve operational performance. The course covers some techniques for analyzing business processes such as process analysis and simulation. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have obtained knowledge of the standard for business process modeling and learned how business process models can be used to increase transparency and performance of business operations.
