Leadership and You

Degree program: MBA

Throughout the MBA program, emphasis has been placed on how one should lead an international business organization. This class makes it personal and practical: are there tools which work all the time? Is leading really different from managing? Is thinking in terms of leadership styles really useful? Should my style adapt to the situation? Can you lead others without a settled personality? What role does/should ethics play?

The major intended learning outcome is to give participants the basis for a reflected attitude leadership that is neither simplistic nor technocratic. That basis should enable them to find their own leadership philosophy and add new experiences and theories to it as they proceed in their career.
