Managing Supply Chain Complexity

Supply chains nowadays are complex due to trade-offs between the benefits, risks, and costs of complexity issues. In this course the students will become familiar with the system dynamics methodology as a tool for decision-making. System dynamics yields powerful insights into problems of dynamic complexity and policy resistance.

 

On successful completion of this module, the students will be able to:

• employ appropriate methodologies to solve decision problems

• work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate the initiative to substantially contribute to the team effort

• demonstrate effective professional oral communications skills

• demonstrate effective professional written communications skills
