Start-Up Day

Establishing Start-Ups as part of the logistics industry and a driver for innovation.

January 26th, 2018

Start-Up Day at Kühne Logistics University

Which Start-Ups are currently active in the Transport and Logistics markets? What are their business ideas? And which innovations have the potential to disrupt markets in transport and logistics? You can ask all these and a lot more questions at the Logistics Start-Up-Day on January 26th, 2018.

A lot of new and exciting Start-Ups are emerging right now, especially in the area of transportation and logistics, often driven by digital transformation. For students in these fields, they provide some interesting opportunities: Be it as a future employer or as a role model for their own business idea. So the professors Hanno Friedrich and André Ludwig together with the KLU student association LEC, decided to invite Start-Ups to a hands-on lesson in entrepreneurship. The Start-Up-Day will be open to all students of the KLU, external students and practitioners interested in the topic.

More than 20 Start-Ups will be talking about their business models and how they plan to change the game in logistics. After the pitches by the Start-ups, it's the students' turn to dig deeper and get their questions answered in interactive sessions.
