Abstract

The project focuses on investigating the concept of net positive climate contributions of organizations and companies supporting the transformation towards a net positive economy. Amongst this, it will look at what the concept of net positive climate contributions is and how organizations use it. The project is seeking to provide empirical evidence around this vague concept and on strategies for companies to move towards becoming net positive. As a result of this research, organizations should be able to shift into a new role within their function in society and the natural environment by pursuing net positive climate contributions.

Prior to graduating from the Christian-Albrecht-University of Kiel with a M.Sc. in Environmental Management, he received a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and Business Administration at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. During his studies, Duncan spent two semesters abroad at the Canterbury Christ Church University in England and at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
