We are happy to announce that KLU Thinks Big will be happening for the second year in a row! In 2017, the event will take on the theme “Crossing Borders”. We all have one thing in common - we are all different! We all have different cultures, backgrounds, ideas, passions, experience, ways of thinking and expressing ourselves. At KLU Thinks Big, we will celebrate this difference by giving the stage to our community. This year, 6 speakers will share with us what crossing borders means to them - in 12 minutes or less:

The speakers:

  • Alan Mckinnon (Professor of Logistics) - Drone delivery to the home: why it is likely to have little impact on city logistics
  • Dirk Hagmaier (Student MSc Management) - Aviation
  • Moritz Petersen (Senior Researcher) - Blockchain technology
  • Sandra Transchel (Associate Professor of Supply Chain and Operations Management) - Spend Smart - Eat Smart - Waste Less: The Food Waste Challenge
  • Shyam Mysore Ramaprasad (Student  MSc Global Logistics & Supply Chain Management) - Health, Fitness and Diet
  • Vinicius Andriolo (Student  MSc Global Logistics & Supply Chain Management) - Leading the world

The evening will end with a "meet and greet" followed by drinks and finger food at the lobby of the university.
If you would like to attend the event, please register via Eventbrite.
Additional information about the event, together with details about the speakers, could be found at our official Facebook page: KLU Thinks Big.
