Full text-, fact- and bibliographical databases selected by the KLU Library.

These research databases are licensed and provided to you by the KLU Library. Most of them have IP-based authentication, which means that you don’t have to enter any log-in information if you are on campus. For off-campus access, please activate your VPN connection.

Bepress publishes 68 peer-reviewed and current e-journals in the fields of Business, Politics and Law, including the B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy, Business and Politics, Global Economy Journal, Journal of Time Series Econometrics, Review of Law & Economics and Review of Marketing Science. Since 2011 Bepress is available via the publisher de Gruyter, who acquired bepress’s journal portfolio.

Business Source Complete is available via the database provider EBSCO. Business Source Complete provides a large full text collection for the most important scholarly business journals. Many of them are available in full text from the very first issue, and over 1200 are in full text from 2003 onwards. Additionally, the database provides access to books, case studies, faculty seminar videos, interviews and SWOT analyses. It covers all areas of business, including accounting, banking, computer science & MIS, economics, human resources, insurance, law, management, marketing, operations management, public administration and much more. It also gives access to company-, industry-, market research- and country reports from Datamonitor and Business Monitor International.

Compustat provides an extensive collection of standardized financial, statistical and market data on companies throughout the world, dating back to 1950.

Full Text - Coverage: 1950> - Compustat Global & Compustat North America

Standard & Poor's (IQ Capital) Compustat Global and Compustat North America are databases of financial, statistical and market information on companies throughout the world. They provide an extensive collection of standardized, consistent and comparable data on companies, industries and business cycles, available back to 1950.

Compustat Global provides financial and stock market data for publicly traded companies in 82 countries, representing over 90% of the world's market capitalization. Compustat North America provides the annual and quarterly Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and supplemental data items on most publicly held companies in the United States and Canada.

Datastream is a global financial and macroeconomic database covering equities, stock market indices, currencies, company fundamentals, fixed income securities and key economic indicators for more than 175 countries. With access to a large set of historical financial content, one can use it to investigate correlations and relationships between global economic indicators and various asset classes. Content sets available include equities, international macroeconomic series (back to the 1950s), commodities, derivatives and company fundamental data and financial ratios on over 37,000 active quoted companies and over 24,000 inactive ones across 79 markets.

EconLit is available via the database host EBSCO. EconLit contains full text of over 600 journals, including the American Economic Association journals with no embargo. In addition to full-text coverage, EconLit provides access to citations and abstracts to economic research dating back to 1969. This database also contains many non-English full-text journals in economics & finance, including subject areas such as capital markets, country studies, econometrics, economic forecasting, environmental economics, government regulations, labor economics, monetary theory, urban economics and much more.

MathSciNet is a bibliographical database and the online version of Mathematical Reviews, a journal published by the American Mathematical Society (AMS). It offers access to reviews, abstracts and bibliographic information for much of the mathematical sciences literature. The database contains almost 3 million items and over 1.7 million direct links to articles in full text; over 100,000 new items are added each year. Bibliographic data from retrodigitized articles dates back to the early 1800s.

ScienceDirect is a full-text scientific database portal that provides articles from some 1500 journals in a broad field of subjects, including Business, Management and Accounting, Decision Science, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Management, Psychology and Social Sciences.
The KLU license gives full text access to a selection of Social and Behavioural Sciences Journals from 1995 to present, and practically all Elsevier online books on the same subject, including major reference works, handbooks and eBooks.

The World Bank E-Library Archive contains all publications by the World Bank researchers until 2014. The database provides access to more than 2,800 e-books, e-journals and 5,500 workbooks, provided by the World Bank in Open Access.
