Christine Herdmann joined Kühne Logistics University as a PhD Candidate in the field of Supply Chain Management in December 2015. Her research concentrates on the use of smart devices along the supply chain and how they can be implemented for optimizing it. She will be supervised by Prof. Dr. Kai Hoberg.
Christine received her M.Sc. degree in Business Administration - Supply Chain Management from the University of Cologne in 2015. During her Master studies, she spent a semester at Vienna University of Economics and Business. Her Master’s thesis focused on Behavioral Operations; the impact of human preferences within decision making when facing Operations Management Models. Beforehand, she completed her B.Sc. degree in Business Administration at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster. Here, she also worked as a student assistant at the Department for Information Systems and Supply Chain Management.
