Jorida Shehu joined the Kühne Logistics University as a PhD candidate in January 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maria Besiou and Prof. Dr. Sandra Transchel. In her research, Jorida focuses on the operations and supply chain management of humanitarian organizations.
Jorida graduated with a Master of Arts in European and European Legal Studies from the University of Hamburg in 2021. Before joining the KLU, Jorida received her Master of Science degree and Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Tirana in July 2016 and September 2014, respectively.
In January 2020, she joined Logistics Education – Emerging & Developing Countries, a unit of the Kühne Foundation, which supports capacity building in logistics and supply chain management in developing countries. Between her academic studies, Jorida has been actively involved in supporting local capacity building, community empowerment and democratic governance.
