Ioannis Siskos is a Research Associate in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Kühne Logistics University. His current research focuses on location factors in global manufacturing in the context of two different areas: a) in the automotive sector, where he studies the relative effect of location factors on vehicle manufacturing plant openings and closures, and b) in the industrial park context, where he studies how industrial symbiosis can be used as a business model by industrial park operators. His research interests include decentralized energy systems, eco-innovation strategy, energy policies, sustainable logistics, and insurance policies against natural hazards.
