Graduate MSc in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management 2020
My name is Naresh, and I’m studying at KLU for the period 2018-2020. I did my bachelor in Mechanical Engineering in India, during this time, I decided that I wanted to keep enhancing my abilities and knowledge in my areas of interest, but in order to chase my vision I decided to gain experience, so I was working for about 2.5 years in the logistics sector. After this time, I thought it was good to go further for deep knowledge, so I decided to look for a master’s degree abroad.
This is what I am up to (hobbies, personal things):
Since I finished Schooling, I decided to chase my automotive engineering dream. From there, my hobbies and my passion has become to learn about automotive, play basketball for my university and corporate teams, and get know new people and cultures.
I’ve always been a very active person, so during high school I used to practise basketball and captained my school team for 5 years with lot of memorable victories. I also hang out with friends.
During my chilling time I like to read books, watch movies and spend time with family. I’m also up to learn new languages and keep learning new things.
These are the subjects which I can also help you on:

Why I wanted to study in Germany:
Definitely because of the advancement in the field of automotive industry. Added to that, rather than working in Germany I decided to study at a place which paved way for such experts in supply chain management to prosper in Automotive sector. At the same time, Germany has well equipped professors with industrial experience.
Why I wanted to study at KLU:
When I was researching about German universities which specialized in supply chain management, KLU had the state of art curriculum. Moreover, I found it interesting about the kind of importance on maintaining an international environment.
These are my tips for Hamburg:
Hamburg is one of the most internationalized cities in Germany. Especially the night-life here is must try. Accommodation is important thing which must be followed up as early as possible as far as Hamburg is concerned.
What is one piece of advice I would give to a prospective student interested in KLU?
Just enjoy learning with international exposure and knowledge sharing. Best parts are the group assignments and case studies with different nationalities which push us out of our comfort zone so be ready to experience it with open mindedness.
What I hope to do after graduation:
I would like to work in Automotive sector and learn about production and material planning.
What I like the most about KLU:
The international atmosphere, almost with more 15 nationalities by which we gain academic knowledge with a wider perspective.
