Graduate BSc Management 2017,
MSc in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management 2019

I have moved to numerous countries through out my life, which made me gain a significant interest for the international world. My plan is to keep Hamburg as my hometown and the city I can go back to, referring to it as my home. From here I would love to travel the world and gain social as well as economical experience in different cultures.

Why I wanted to study in Germany:

I wanted to study in Germany due to the strong economy and because Hamburg is my hometown. In addition, I think that Germany has a stable and promising future.

Why I wanted to study at KLU:

  • small classes
  • Individual support from the teachers
  • the international environment
  • classes are in English
  • Group work reinforcing the modules content
  • Workshops preparing me for the later life after KLU

This is what Rieke is up to:

  • volleyball, soccer, going for a run and skiing/snowboarding
  • spending time with people (family, friends, etc.)

These are the subjects which Rieke can also help you on:

  • Application Process
  • Personal insight of the KLU student life
  • Reasons for choosing the KLU

Rieke’s tips for Hamburg:

  • The public transport system is very good! Car is not really necessary.
  • Hamburg has many attractions (Musicals, festival, Reeperbahn, Strand Pauli, Elbstrand, Exhibitions, concerts, Neuer Wall/ Mönckebergstraße etc. )

What is one piece of advice Rieke would give to a prospective student interested in KLU?

Start searching for an apartment early enough, as it is not that easy to find one.

What Rieke hopes to do after graduation:

After graduation I hope I will have qualified to continue with my master. By the end of the Bachelor program, my aim is to have figured out wither I would like to specialize myself in logistic.

What Rieke likes the most about KLU:

  • student –teacher and student-student cooperation is very good
