Coming home to KLU

Old friends, good talks and lots of activities: More than 80 alumni, staff and faculty members joined the KLU Alumni Homecoming on November 18 and 19. Organized by the KLU Alumni Association and the Career Development & Alumni Relations Office, the event was opened with a warm welcome by Thomas Strothotte, President of KLU. The morning included networking activities, followed by a speech on alumni relations by Dr. Ulrich W. Schiefer (WHU) and the General Assembly of the KLU Alumni Association Board. After lunch, the alumni attended several workshops, an excursion to the Elbphilharmonie, a workshop on start-ups by Dr. Fabian Heilemann, co-founder of Freighthub and member of KLU’s advisory board, as well as individual coaching sessions. In the evening, participants had the chance to continue networking and meeting old and new friends at the reception dinner and party in the KLU foyer. On Sunday, the event closed with a workshop by KLU Professor Rod Franklin on "The Digital Supply Chain: Fact vs. Fiction"
