Open Day - Full House at KLU

The Kühne Logistics University (KLU) sent out the invitations to its first open day on the new campus Hamburg’s HafenCity. On Saturday, March 22 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., KLU professors, students and staff were available to answer questions on our degree programs and the university in general. More than 80 prospective students learned more about the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs at our English-language university.

The organizers prepared a multi-faceted program for the guests. KLU President Thomas Strothotte kicked off the open house, two alumni gave a Pecha-Kucha-style report on their entry level jobs at H&M and Students shared the experiences they’ve had during their semesters at KLU, Prof. Rod Franklin gave a mini lecture, and Prof. Kai Hoberg challenged the audience in the game "Who wants to a Millionaire – The Logistics Edition." The completely successful, information-filled day drew to an end with the rhythmical French jazz of Cupif Band from Biroutt.

"A great opportunity to become familiar with the opportunities for studying at KLU. The quality of the program and the internships and semesters abroad really impressed me," said Tobias, who came all the way from Hanover for the open day.
