Prof. Becker’s paper “The impact of pre- and post-launch publicity and advertising on new product sales“ won the prestigious IJRM Best Paper Award.

Prof. Becker's paper on the effectiveness of PR and advertising before and after the launch of new products (co-authored with Dr. Alexa Burmester, Prof. Dr. Michel Clement, both University of Hamburg, and Prof. Dr. Harald van Heerde, Massey University, NZ) has been voted the best paper published in the International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM) in 2015. The award was presented at this year’s Annual Conference of the European Marketing Academy (EMAC) in Oslo, Norway.
