Research Groups

Excellent research is on of the fundamental pillars of KLU. In accordance with our mission, the role of research at KLU is to investigate the conditions that drive success for (logistics and supply chain management) business. Many of our faculty are involved in such ground breaking research. Respective topics span aspects such as supply chain management, effective pricing, and people leadership. In each, best results are not only achieved by excellent individuals but by bringing together excellent individuals in research groups.

Below please find a list of research groups KLU faculty take an active role in:

  • RespectResearchGroup: The RespectResearchGroup is a multidisciplinary research group and think tank. In their work, the members investigate the essences and functions of different kinds of interpersonal respect in various domains, predominantly however in business. http://www.respectresearchgroup.org/
  • Who is managing our supply chains?: This joint project of the Kühne Logistics University and McKinsey & Company is undertaken to gain in-depth knowledge about supply chain managers. http://wimosc.the-klu.org/
  • Research Institute on Leadership and Operations in Humanitarian Aid (RILOHA): The institute is a collection of behavioural and operations researchers who seek to better understand the human dynamics within humanitarian aid operations, such as leadership, teamwork, and communication, in order to provide actionable, evidence-driven behavioural insights on how to more effectively deliver humanitarian aid. http://www.riloha.org/
