Frank Straube holds a diploma degree in industrial engineering and business management, a doctorate in logistics and got his habilitation at University of Sankt Gallen. He is the Vice Dean and faculty council member of the School of Economics and Management and holds the Chair of Logistics at the Technische Universität Berlin. Main areas of expertise are logistics end-to-end strategy, global logistics networks, smart and digital technologies, sustainability, traffic and transport and city logistics.
Frank Straube is long term member of the scientific network of the Kuehne Foundation and active as an international teacher at the CDHK of Tongji University, Shanghai, at the University of Paris (Sorbonne-Pantheon-Assas) and at Stanford University. He is a partner of academic programs in Brazil and Abu Dhabi and supports the Turkish-German University in Istanbul.
Frank Straube is a member of the advisory board of the German Logistics Association (BVL), a member of the board of the European Logistics Association (ELA) and a member of the Worldbank Global Knowledge Network on sustainable logistics and growth. He is also a member in advisory boards of renowned companies and active in the editorial board of various international academic journals. Frank Straube is the founder of the International Transfer Center for Logistics (ITCL), which designs and implements innovative logistics systems and offers professional development for companies.
