Stephan Wagner is Direktor Executive MBA in Supply Chain Management, Department Management, Technology and Economics, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich. Prior he served on the faculty of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, and worked for 10 years in industry and top-management consulting. He obtained a MBA from Washington State University and a Ph.D. and Habilitation degree from the University of St. Gallen.
Stephan Wagner is an active researcher and has received numerous research awards from academic associations and leading management journals. He is author and editor of ten books and over one hundred book chapters and articles. His research interests lie in the areas of supply chain management with a particular emphasis on strategy, networks, behavioral issues, innovation, entrepreneurship and humanitarian operations. Stephan Wagner is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Operations Management, the Decision Sciences Journal, the Journal of Business Logistics, the Journal of Supply Chain Management and the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management, and serves as Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for other scholarly journals.
Furthermore, Stephan Wagner is Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V., Member of the Board of procure.ch – Fachverband für Einkauf und Supply Management, and Member of the Board of Directors of HELP Logistics AG.
