The journal is targeted to academics and practitioners in the humanitarian organizations in the public and private sectors that are involved in all aspects of humanitarian logistics and supply chain management. It promotes the exchange of knowledge, experience and new ideas among researchers and practitioners, and encourages a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional approach to resolving problems and leveraging opportunities in humanitarian supply chains. JHLSCM publishes state-of-the-art research that utilizes both quantitative and qualitative approaches in the fields of humanitarian and development aid logistics and supply chains.
