By its own account, the mission of the Leadership Quarterly is to bring together a focus on leadership for scholars, consultants, practicing managers, executives and administrators, as well as those numerous university faculty members across the world who teach leadership as a college course.
The journal is considered top tier, being listed at many business schools as an A-journal. Its tier is also reflected in its consistent high impact factor (3.14 in 2014).
In joining the editorial board of the Leadership Quarterly, Niels Van Quaquebeke now sits on three editorial boards of outstanding academic journals. The other two journals being Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. This is further evidence of the outstanding scientific quality of KLU's faculty.
