In its fifth anniversary year, the former KLU Start-up Day has been reinvented as KLU Logistics Innovators Day, an event that is open to students, experts, practitioners, and researchers alike. Offering a more international setting than ever before, the professional and networking event is dedicated to innovative technologies and business models, and provides a forum for sharing ideas and experiences and establishing valuable new contacts in dedicated company sessions.

Ten established innovators and innovative young companies in the global logistics sector, some of them appearing in Germany for the first time, will report on their experiences during the COVID-19 crisis and their adaptation strategies. Up to 250 students and researchers as well as 150 practitioners from around the world are expected to attend virtually.

In addition, KLU’s Logistics Innovators Day will present a wide variety of platform-based business models – from digital freight forwarding to the concept of an online supermarket. There will be presentations by:

As in the successful KLU Start-up Day approach, students will again take over parts of the organization. The Logistics Innovators Day is the only event of its kind for the logistics industry offered at a German university, and is guided by the motto: “Instead of talking about innovation, let’s talk with actual innovators.”

The event, offered free of charge, was made possible with the support of KPMG, HAUS61 and Sovereign Speed.
