Abstract
The mega trends in transportation:
• urbanization
• smartphone revolution
• mobility as a service & autonomous vehicles
will have an significant impact on our way how we see and use urban transporation in the future.
Within the presentation examples are given highlighting Daimlers start-up approach of moovel striving to play an active role in future urban mobility.
Biography
After his diploma in physics and his PhD in business administration Dr. Bernd Schmaul became passionate for brands and transportation. He has gathered 20 years of experience in brand positioning, marketing, sales, retail and eCommerce e.g. as Managing Director / CCO on an international scale within reknown organizations such as TUI, Lufthansa and Europcar - currently as CMO of Daimler’s start-up subsidiary moovel to shape future urban mobility.
