This KLU certificate program offers a unique learning experience for young executives and project managers in business and logistics. ENLOP combines excellent academic teaching for practitioners with an offer for intensive networking in the form of joint excursions for a practical view of learning content, joint trips in the European region, as well as first-class joint leisure activities.

At various renowned universities in European countries like Denmark, France, and Great Britain, including Copenhagen Business School, Kedge Business School and Heriot-Watt University, you will learn about relevant and current topics in logistics and supply chain management in order to expand and deepen your specialist knowledge. You will also become part of a network of ambitious and committed participants that has been promoting professional and personal development for around twenty years.

ENLOP participants are predominantly employed in leading and staff positions in medium-sized companies in industry, trade, freight forwarding, transport and other logistics service sector.

Program content

Our program comprises seven modules, each spanning two seminar days. Throughout these sessions, you'll delve into various logistics and supply chain topics. The lecturers use a wide variety of teaching methods, such as presentations, group work, case studies and discussions. Depending on the topic, practical exercises with software or VR technology may also be involved. Each university emphasizes its unique focus within the program, relating it to current topics, trends, and academic findings.

The seminar day usually starts at 9 a.m. and comprises two to four 90-minute sessions. There is a 15 to 30-minute coffee break in the morning and afternoon between the sessions and a one-hour lunch break at midday, during which we can recharge our batteries together at the provided catering. 

Moreover, at every location, we organize a visit to a renowned company. This includes an introduction to the company's activities with on-site employees, providing an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into major manufacturers, shipping, and distribution centers. During these visits, you'll not only gain exciting insights into logistical challenges and solutions but also have the unique opportunity to get most of your questions answered.

On the first evening of the seminar, we'll gather for a networking dinner. Here, amidst culinary delights from the host country, we'll continue exchanging ideas and reflecting on the day's exciting experiences. Throughout the remaining free time, joint activities such as city tours or visits to local bars are organized. Participation is always voluntary but highly recommended.

We recommend that you arrive the day before and only leave the seminar early in important exceptional cases.

  • Because attendance at a KLU Education program requires significant advance preparation and demand often exceeds capacity, it is important that you contact us in a timely manner if you must cancel or defer your attendance.
  • You may make up the missed session at the same university in the following year.
  • Please note, we only allow one program transfer. If you are unable to attend the program to which you defer, you may send a colleague in your place or the program fee would be forfeited. If requesting a refund, please see our cancellation policy below.
  • KLU reserves the right to cancel a program at any time for any reason. In the unlikely event of a program cancellation, paid program fees will be refunded, but the university is not responsible for any travel or other related expenses accrued by the program registrant.
  • Payments are due in full no later than 14 days after the invoice date (30 days for international payments). Please transfer payments to the account specified on the invoice and include the invoice number with all payments.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing. If a cancellation is submitted:
    • 20 or more working days before the start of the event, you will receive a full refund minus a 10 percent processing fee
    • 5 to 19 working days before the start of the event, you will receive a 50 percent refund.
    • less than 5 days before the event or if you do not participate in the event, you will not receive a refund.
  •  If too few people register for an event or if other urgent reasons arise, the event organizer is permitted to postpone or cancel the event or to combine it with another event. In such cases, participants are entitled to withdraw from the event. Participants are not entitled to reimbursement of travel costs, hotel costs or time not worked.
  • The event organizer reserves the right to change the event schedule for important reasons.
