Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals

We are pleased to invite you to the joint KLU-CSCMP event “Supply Chain Management a revenue booster – fiction or reality?” on March 20, 2018 on our campus. The event is organized by KLU’s key competence area “Creating Value” that aims to accelerate the value contribution of logistics and SCM and the German Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.

We aim to address a critical gap as many companies still see the main focus of most SCM activities in cost reduction through process optimization and efficiency increase. However, managers more frequently start to see the opportunity to employ SCM to offer better products and services which can offer the decisive advantage towards the competition. Industry and retail companies invest in higher data transparency, shorter lead-times or new delivery concepts which allow them to not only fulfill the classical drive for efficiency but also to deliver added value to the customer.

We will discuss the topic with top speakers from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Puma, Trilux, Gebr. Heinemann and Kühne Logistics University. You also have the chance to visit the state-of-the-art warehouse of Gebr. Heinemann in Hamburg- Allermöhe. Please see the downlaod underneath for the detailed agenda registration details.
