Joint Executive Education Program by WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management and Kühne Logistics University (KLU)
Digitalization, internationalization and increasingly shorter production cycles are presenting new challenges to companies and their flexibility. These change processes affect all company areas and effective, efficient process flows have become essential – especially in the field of supply chain management. They represent a chance to successfully use new production opportunities in new markets.
Companies often fail to tap the potential of supply chain management to support or control their corporate strategy completely because in contrast to the other functions of the company, they do not attribute a major role to it. Supply chain managers are often faced with the challenge of positioning the benefits of their own activities relative to the company’s strategic goals. This is the point that the Supply Chain Leadership program addresses. Our goal is to expand managers’ perspective on overall corporate policies and goals.
The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and Kühne Logistics University (KLU) Supply Chain Leadership program allows participants to benefit from the best of both worlds. KLU’s supply chain and logistics experts will discuss their daily challenges. The general management experts of WHU will expand their appreciation of strategic company issues. As part of the continuing education program, participants will acquire the skills and understanding of key relationships necessary for properly positioning the supply chain activities in their companies.
We will support you as you take advantage of the opportunity to strengthen your company’s overall competitive ability and take on a leadership role yourself.
The continuing education program is targeted to company executives, upper management or department heads in the purchasing, supply chain and logistics management areas who would like to understand how managing their supply chain can influence their company’s competitive ability. Achieving corporate goals with the help of supply chain management is a second focal area.
The Supply Chain Leadership Program is divided into two modules. You are invited to attend one or both of them. The curriculum consists of different modules related to your daily work environment. The program’s focal areas are strategy and strategy implementation, leadership, change management, and entrepreneurial logic and action. Use this innovative chance to enhance your knowledge with practice-related information and network with the other participants.
